The collection at the airport, the drive to the Kalahari, the welcome, the food, the lodge, the hospitality, the amenities and the San people were especially wonderful and enlightening. "Following our safari in the Kwhai reserve, we spent a few days at the Feline Fields lodge. We arrived by helicopter directly in front of the hotel pool. There, we were able to rest and have a good time with family. We discovered the life of the bushmen during a morning in the desert and evening around the fire. "I stayed at Feline Fields Vintage Camp in January and genuinely don’t know how to follow this up with any other holiday. This place feels completely out of time — no signal, no noise, just you and the animals. It felt surreal. The setting along the Khwai River is stunning and the wildlife encounters were extraordinary. The food was way better than you’d expect given how remote it is, and the tents were gorgeous — comfortable without losing that authentic camp feel. But what really sets it apart is the staff.
